Summary
An Ihagee Exakta Model C single lens reflex camera. Carl Zeiss Lens. Lever advance. Locking lever for helix on left side. A second shutter speed knob on the right of the body. This gave additional speeds from 12s to 1/10s and a self-timer from 1/10s to 6 second speeds. Black Metal body with black leatherette covering and chrome coloured knobs and fittings. Vacublitz socket with 2 holes. Model C is similar to Model B exept the Exakta C has interchangable backs, one for 127 film and one for plates. Markings: On hood 'Ihagee' logo embossed Above lens 'Exakta' logo On lens 'Carl Zeiss Jena nr. 1695349. Tessar 1:2,8 f=7,5cm Around shutter 'Ihagee Dresden 449338' White label affixed to bottom of camera '1936 c/364' handwritten in black ink Patent nos. on inside back cover
