Ensign E29 rollfilm box camera. The body is wooden covered in a blue fabric. There is a simple shutter with T and instantaneous settings. On the rear it has embossed ' Made by the Houghton-Butcher Manfs. Co. Ltd. London'. On the inside of the back there in a red label with the wording 'All standard makes of film fit this camera, but for best results always ask for Ensign Film No E29 Made in Great Britain. Other makes are known as No 129 and No 29. Ensign Limited formerly Houghton-Butcher (GB) Ltd, Ensign House, High Holborn, London'
