Summary
A No.2 Folding Pocket Kodak Model A folding roll-film camera. Camera body is metal, covered with black leather and with metal details. Bellows is maroon leather. Leather covered lensboard with recessed lens and shutter. Horizontal style camera for square exposures on No.101 rollfilm. Bed folds down and standard pulls out on track. Markings: Inside back cover: "Top". "No.2 Folding Pocket Kodak Model A" and list of patent dates: 1885, 1890, 1894 and 1898. "Manufactured only by Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, N.Y., U.S.A." On baseboard: Manufacturer's plate: "Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, N.Y., Made in U.S.A. Engraved on metal plate at bottom of lensboard: "Eastman Kodak Co." Card insert on baseboard, printed in black ink gives instructions on how to pull out the front of the camera.
