Summary
A No. 3A Special Kodak Model A Folding Rollfilm camera. Tessar 1:6,3 R1 6,5cm DRP Lens in black bakelite printed with "Carl Zeiss, Jena Nr 229228". DRP Compound black bakelite shutter.The camera is wooden covered with black leather and chrome details: including a rotating brilliant finder and spirit level, film winding knobs, rack and pinion focussing rails and manufacturers plate "Eastman Kodak Company Rochester NY USA". Black metal distance scale. Shutter release lever has very little resistance. An additional metal manufacturer plate on back of baseboard reads "MODEL Special Kodak A". The bellows are black leather. Patent dates and numbers engraved on the inside of the back casing.Orange plastic circular viewer for film frame numbers. "KODAK" is engraved on black leather carry strap. Engraved on metal stand in decorative writing "Kodak" on outside and "16561" on inside.
