Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting a view of the Church of the Theatines (Theatinerkirche St. Kajetan), Munich, Germany. It is a domed Catholic church in Italian high baroque style, with two towers on the facade, either side of the main entrance. The view looks along Odeonsplatz, towards the side and front right corner of the church. On the left of the image at the end of the street is the Feldherrnhalle (Field Marshals' Hall). There is an equestrain statue of Ludwig I on the right of the photograph. The photograph is in landscape format and has diagonally cut corners. The print is mounted onto an album page of heavy white card. Markings: Top of the page handwritten in black ink and underlined: "Munich" Beneath the photograph, handwritten in black ink and underlined: "Church of the Theatines"
