Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting the front view of the Gateway of Victory (Siegestor), Munich, Germany. It is a three-arched triumphal arch crowned with a statue of Bavaria with a lion-quadriga. The view is from the Leopoldstrasse, looking through the arch along Ludwigstrasse. The photograph is in portrait format and has diagonally cut corners. The print is mounted onto an album page of heavy white card. Markings: Top of the page handwritten in black ink and underlined: "Munich" Beneath the photograph, handwritten in black ink and underlined: "Gateway of Victory"
