Summary
An albumen print photograph of Metz and the river Moselle, France. The print depicts a view of the river and bridge. it is mounted at the top left hand of the page. one of three prints on this page. The print is mounted onto an album page of heavy white card. The photograph is in landscape format and has diagonally cut corners. Markings: Top of the page handwritten in ink and underlined, are the words; 'Metz' Bottom below the photograph, handwritten in ink and underlined, are the words: 'Metz and the River Moselle' Bottom of the page, below the photographs on the righthand side, handwritten in ink and underlined, are the words: 'April 1884'.
