Summary
An albumen print photograph of the Via Roma, (also known as Via Toledo), Naples, Italy. The print depicts a view of the Piazza Carita with a statue of Carlo Poerio in the foreground, looking down Via Roma. There are a number of carriages in both the piazza and the Via. The print is mounted onto a white stiff card page on the righthand side within an album. The photograph is in landscape format and has diagonally cut corners. Markings: Bottom of the page, below the photograph, handwritten in ink and underlined, are the words: 'Via Roma '.
