Summary
An albumen print photograph of the Marina or Quay, Naples, Italy. The print depicts a view a quay, with a mixed group of men and boys standing and sitting on it, in the foreground. There are a large number of small boats floating behind them and drawn up on a small beach that is backed by an esplanade and tall buildings. Castel Sant'Elmo is in the backgound, on a hill. The print is mounted onto a white stiff card page on the lefthand side within an album. The photograph is in landscape format and has diagonally cut corners. Markings: Bottom of the page, below the photograph, handwritten in ink and underlined, are the words: 'Marina or Quay '.
