Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting the exterior of the Basilica di Santa Croce (Basilica of the Holy Cross), Florence, Italy. In the foreground of the Piazza di Santa Croce is a statue of the poet Dante. The photograph is mounted onto a white stiff card page within an album. The photograph is in landscape format and has diagonally cut corners. Markings: handwritten in black ink above the photograph: "Florence" and below the photograph: "Church of St. Croce with the Statue of Dante".
