Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting a full length portrait of two bedouin women, seated on the ground one behind the other. The woman at the back wears robes and a headdress/scarf is stroking the hair of the one in front who wears robes and earrings but no head coverings. There is a pile of foliage on the ground next to them. This photograph is similar to 1520691.43 and 1520691.51 Markings: Handwritten in pencil on the album page above the photograph: 'Bedwins". Blind stamped within the photograph, upside down at the bottom is an indistinct name (possibly 'Rives'?) followed by the 'No. 74'. The print is mounted directly onto the page in the album. The portrait is one of a number collected into a section of the album devoted to Egypt.
