Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting a half length portrait of a man, seated, with his left arm resting on the chair arm. He is wearing a shirt and bow tie, suit and a robe,with a fez hat. He has facial scars, three vertical marks on each cheek. The print is mounted directly onto the page in the album and is overlapped by two other prints at the top right and left corners. The portrait is one of a number collected into a section of the album devoted to Egypt.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986
