Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting a full length portrait of two women. One (on left of image) is seated, wearing patterned dress and dark trousers with a pale headdress. The other woman (on right of image) is standing up and is wearing a light dress, with a darker headdress. The neck of her dress is undone, showing part of her breast. She is holding a fan over the shoulder of the seated woman. They are posed on a carpet with a view of buildings in the background. The print is mounted directly onto the page in the album and overlaps another print at the bottom. The portrait is one of a number collected into a section of the album devoted to Egypt.
