Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting a full length portrait of a seated female. She is sat cross legged wearing a dark top and light trousers, and has a long, dark veil. She is holding a small earthenware pot in her left hand. She is posed on a carpet against a plain background. The print is mounted directly onto the page in the album. The portrait is one of a number collected into a section of the album devoted to Egypt.
