Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting a veiled female figure sat on a donkey. She is wearing long robes, headdress and face mask. The donkey has straps around rear and under body to hold saddle in place. The portrait is depicted against a plain background by means of a mask. The print is photographically captioned from the negative with the number 61, by the donkey leg. The print is mounted directly onto the page in the album. The portrait is one of a number collected into a section of the album devoted to Egypt.
