Summary
An albumen print photograph of a sculpture, in carte de visite format, mounted in a white stiff card page within an album.. The window of the mount is portrait format and has curved corners. It is surrounded by a 5mm wide embossed margin. The picture is of a classical statue of a seated female nude. On either side of the statue is a pair of smaller statues of decorated urns. The figure is seated on a tree stump around which a snake is coiled. She has her left arm raised to shoulder level and us looking down to her left side at the head of the snake. Her right arm is by her side with her upturned hand in her lap. Recto nil Verso nil
