Summary
An albumen print photograph of a painting, in carte de visite format, mounted into a white stiff card page within an album. The window of the mount is portrait format and has curved corners. It is surrounded by a 5mm wide embossed margin. The painitng depicts 2 human figures with fighting cocks. The male on the right is nude with material draped over his right arm. He is crouching to stroke a bird. The female is to the left and is looking at the 2 birds. 1 bird is in an attack postion. Recto nil. Verso nil.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986
