Summary
An albumen print photograph of a painting, in carte de visite format, mounted into a white stiff card page within an album. The window of the mount is portrait format and has curved corners. It is surrounded by a 5mm wide embossed margin. The painting depicts a full length female semi-nude, partially covered with a towel/material drape. The background depicts an interior scene, with a wall barometer (or thermometer) to the left, above a mantlepiece, and a fabric-draped seat. To the right is an ornate table with a flower display. Recto nil. Verso nil.
