Summary
An albumen print photograph of a painting, in carte de visite format, mounted into a white stiff card page within an album. The window of the mount is portrait format and has curved corners. It is surrounded by a 5mm wide embossed margin. The painting depicts a group of 3 figures (Diana, Cupid and the satyr) against a scenic backdrop with trees.The first is a female nude in an upright position holding a bow above her head in her left hand, with material draped at her back. The second is the back of a child nude, with wings whose left hand is reaching up towards the bow. The third is a male (the satyr) kneeling to the left. Recto nil. Verso nil.
