Summary
An albumen print photograph of a sculpture, in carte de visite format, mounted in a white stiff card page within an album. The window of the mount is portrait format and has curved corners. It is surrounded by a 5mm wide embossed margin. The picture is of a gallery scene showing a classical statue of two upright figures. The statue is mounted on a rectangular raised plinth. There is a female nude being embraced with a kiss from a male winged nude. The figures are rising from the heavily carved base. In the background the wall is mounted with several framed oil paintings of different sizes. There are also two small chairs against the wall. Recto nil. Verso nil.
