Summary
An albumen print photograph of a painting, in carte de visite format, mounted in a white stiff card page within an album. The window of the mount is portrait format and has curved corners. It is surrounded by a 5mm wide embossed margin. The photograph is in landscape format and depicts a reverse image of the oil painting "Leda and the Swan" by Francois Boucher. It shows two female nudes and a swan in a garden; the female on the left is lying on her front towards the female on the right who is sitting on drapery amongst leaves with the swan's neck on her left thigh. Recto nil. Verso not examined.
