Summary
An albumen print photograph of a painting, in carte de visite format, mounted in a white stiff card page within an album. The window of the mount is portrait format and has curved corners. The picture is in portrait format. It is surrounded by a 5mm wide embossed margin. The picture is of a painting showing a naked couple, a man lying on the ground slumped against a tree stump, with a stooping naked female figure standing over him, appealing to a clothed figure with a long white beard, to the right of the picture.
