Summary
Light brown sketch book with grey/black spine and ribbon ties. Inside, there is a sketch pad and a hinged tray which has a button to secure. There are three loose pieces of paper stored inside. The manufacturer label reads: 'SOLID SKETCH BOOK' and was made by 'Winsor and Newton, Manufacturing Artists' Colourmen' who were trading from 38 Rathbone Place, Oxford Street, London. The label dates the sketchbook to the latter half of the 19th century.
