Summary

Green and black tin fireplace in Victorian style with child’s inscription at the top: “FOR ELA”.

Full description

The inscription seems to show that the miniature fireplace was given to Ela by another child and was likely used by her.

Provenance

Purchased with the family collection of Abbey contents in situ from Mrs Petronella Burnett-Brown December 2009.
