Summary
Set of 3 miniature black & gold cardboard lacquer chairs in Chinese style. They have a beige velvet seat and a piece of decorated brass at the front of the seat. They look like Victorian papier mâché chairs. The legs are not straight and fragile. See NT 1517661 for similar items.
Full description
This style of dollhouse furniture whose decoration was made using printed paper like this and transfers to imitate the Boulle style was made by the Schneegas company, manufacturer of dollhouse furniture from the 1840s to early 20th c in Waltershausen, Germany.

Purchased with the family collection of Abbey contents in situ from Mrs Petronella Burnett-Brown December 2009.
