Summary
A plain leaded light window inset with a painted glass armorial shield. Gule is a deep red, with a wavy chevron between three crosses. Quadrilateral in form with concave sides and characteristic of the late medieval period. One of a pair with 1517529. Located in the window at the south end of the Stone Gallery at Lacock Abbey. Likely installed by John Ivory Talbot.
Provenance
Part of a gift of paintings and objects defined as 'fixtures and fittings' when the Abbey was given to the National Trust by Matilda Talbot in 1944.
