Summary
A plain leaded light window inset with painted glass. Two fragments remain in situ, the upper part of a deep red cloak, and the lower half of a male face,with mouth, beard and hair visible. The rest of the head is missing, with only a leaded outline to suggest the shape. Located in the window immediately to the North of the fireplace in the Stone Gallery at Lacock Abbey. Likely installed by John Ivory Talbot.
Provenance
Part of a gift of paintings and objects defined as 'fixtures and fittings' when the Abbey was given to the National Trust by Matilda Talbot in 1944.
