Summary
An Aga cooker, with a four ring gas hob to the top. With a sqaure black lacquered metal top, stepped to the centre with four rings set in, underneath two removable black lacquered iron grids each moulded as two conjoined octagons. With a tubular chromed rail held between two protruding black ears across the front. Sloping down to the front, with six black plastic dials, with white printed diagrams next to them. The front lacquered in purple overall, with two hinged doors, opening right to left, each door moudled as a conves rectangle with two large hinges to the left. The top door centred with a black plaque.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
