Summary

A stainless steel and carved wood potato masher, by Prestige. The circular steel end, pierced with a grid of square perforations, joined to two bent metal straps that unite and are joined into the handle with two metal rivets. The handle of rounded rectangular shape, moulded with three recesses for finger grips.

Provenance

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
