Summary
A Victorian warming plate, with a transfer printed white ceramic top upon a plated metal hollow dish bottom. The plate decorated with a black printed scrolling foliage and bellflower frieze to the rim, with a medallion of a similar design to the centre. With two wire handles fastened to opposing sides with a fold of metal. With a curved tubular spout protruding from one side with a circular screw cap.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
