Summary
A cut glass ink well with gold plated and tooled lid. The hinged lid incised with scrolling foliage designs and with a screwing key to close it to the top of the inkwell. The well itself is of rectangular form with an incised star to the underside.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
