Portrait miniature, watercolour painting on cartridge paper, Emperor Napoleon I, Emperor of France (1769–1821) (after Jean-Baptiste Isabey) attributed to Empress Marie Louise, Empress of France (1791-1847). Circular. Head and shoulders portrait, facing, gazing at the spectator, in Foot Grenadier's uniform (green with white facings), red ribbon of the Leion of Honour. Light brown eyes, scanty dark hair, pale complexion modelled with fine pencil strokes. Plain paper background.
