Summary

A 'Climax Super' made by Lupton and Place Ltd., Burnley. The Climax Super is attached to a Lancashire loom (NT.1453837) and works like a small dobby. It is capable of working 6 healds (heddles) on the loom, which enables a fancier cloth to be woven on the loom, as more complex patterns can be created with the warp threads.
