Summary
A pair of stereoscopic viewers / stereoscopes with oval metal eye pieces with velvet around the edges for comfort, and a pattern engraved on the top with the words 'SUN SCULPTURE U AND U TRADE MARK'. It is attached to a wooden bar which has a cross piece that slides the length of the bar, and is held on by a metal clip. On each end of the cross piece is a wire clip to hold the photograph cards, (this is missing on a.). Underneath the viewer is a handle which folds up against the viewer and tapers at one end. On top in front of the viewer is a square partition. The viewer has two square lenses with thick glass. Wording underneath reads; 'ManF'D by Underwood and Underwood, N.Y. Patented U.S.A. June 11th 1901.'
