Summary
A yew and elm Windsor armchair, Thames Valley, circa 1760, of Gothic style, with arched top rail and three pierced splats, the back split by a rail which then forms the armrests, the armrests supported by a pierced splat and plain curved upright, the shaped seat above two cabriole front legs and two turned splayed rear legs, the legs joined by a curved front stretcher and two diagonal stretchers joining the rear legs to the front stretcher.
