Summary
A serpentine mahogany work table, English, circa 1770, the top with shaped three-quarter gallery, the rear side of the gallery forming the handle to raise the fire-screen to the rear of the table, the fire-screen lined with green silk. The frieze front with a green baize-lined slide and false drawer below, both with two knob handles, with a frieze drawer to one side, with two knob handles, and an opposing dummy. On four cabriole legs joined by a lower cut-out tier with three quarter gallery.
