Summary
A kingwood and rosewood strong box, bound with three ornamental Gothic brass straps at the top, the centre one of which is hinged and covers the front escutcheon. Gothic brass straps also on front, back, sides and base. Two drop handles on either side. The inside fitted with central reserve, two drawers, and another reserve in the lid. Outer corners all reinforced with brass, with several secret compartments
