Summary
A group of a boy and girl beside a pedestal (Der bekräntze Schläfer). Modelled as a sleeping boy in pink coat and breeches, a white waistcoat and hat edged with gilt and a yellow cravat spotted with brown, lying on a green rocky base with his bag and staff at his feet in front of a green marbled pedestal surmounted by a white and gilt urn, with a girl kneeling to crown him with a chaplet of flowers, wearing a yellow bodice, white skirt painted with forget-me-nots, a pink hat bordered with turquoise and a blue and pink striped scarf around her shoulders and with a dog. Marks, wheel in red, 146 in blue/black, No48.R 1 incised.
