Summary
A large group of a sleeping shepherdess and two boys (Der Schlummer der Schäferin). The girl lying asleep on a bank in a puce bodice with blue bows and white skirt with pink stripes, resting her head on her arm, her hat and crook on the ground, the boy in black wide-brimmed hat, pink long coat with gilt buttons, white waistcoat striped with blue and red and yellow short trousers, seated and leaning against a tree-trunk with a garland of flowers, between them a lamb garlanded with flowers, to their left a boy and dog approaching stealthily, the younger boy wearing a puce coat with a blue collar and lining and short white trousers striped in orange, all with bare feet, on a grassy rockwork base. Mark, crowned wheel.
