Summary
One of a pair of figures "The Sultan's Children" (Knabe als Sultan, Mädchen als Sultanin). Both in eastern costume, the boy (a) in a long white-lined turquoise cloak, a coat striped with mauve and gilt lines, fringed with gilt, pink and gilt striped sash, pink loose trousers, yellow shoes and turquoise and white turban with jewel at the side, jewels also hanging from a pink ribbon round his neck, the girl (b) wears a similar cloak and loose trousers and a bodice of the same pattern as the boy's coat. Mark, crowned wheel in blue, impressed HM to boy.
