Summary
A group of a shepherd and a shepherdess (Das geschmückte Lämmchen), the shepherd leaning against a tree-stump in a white long coat with patterned blue border, gilt buttons, pink and grey striped waistcoat and breeches, white stockings and pink shoes, his crook against his right shoulder and holding a reed whistle in his left hand, the girl in a pink hat trimmed in blue, dark-pink bodice, yellow skirt bordered in blue at the hem, white apron and orange shoes, kneeling and placing a wreath of flowers round the neck of the lamb, between them a white wicker basket filled with flowers, a King Charles spaniel sitting beside its master, on a grassy rockwork base. Mark, crowned wheel in blue.
