Summary
One of a pair of groups of a LADY AND GENTLEMAN. EMBLEMATIC OF SUMMER AND WINTER, seated before a baluster, surmounted by the bust of a woman. In one group (a) there is a sheaf of corn between the pair; the lady holds a sickle. In the other group (b) the man holds a hurdy-gurdy; the woman nurses a dog; a bowl of fire is on the ground between them. Painted in colours, with gilding, on scroll shaped bases.ark, interlaced C's.
