Figure, 'Fire' from The Four Elements series, small. Soft-paste biscuit porcelain. A young man clad in a brimmed had and contemporary dress, holds up a burning glass to ignite a faggot in his other hand, on an octagonal neo-classical plinth. The model was introduced by 1771.
