Group, 'Water' from The Four Elements group series. Soft-paste biscuit porcelain. A winged putto beside a tree holds out his net full of fish from which his seated companion removes them to his wooden bucket. The model was introduced by 1771. Based on Tournai (Belgium) originals of about 1760, modeled by Nicholas Gauron.
