Summary
[Destroyed in the fire of 2015] Oil painting on canvas, Lady Gwendolen Florence Mary Onslow, Countess of Iveagh (1881 - 1966) by Dorofield Hardy (active 1882 – 1920). A three-quarter-length portrait of a young woman, seated facing, gazing at the spectator, hair dressed high, wearing an ivory square-necked dress with frills on the bodice, and two voluminous shawls, one pink and one pale mauve with a pattern. Dark background.
