Summary

[Saved] A short narrative of an extraordinary delivery of rabbits 1727. Mary Toft of Godalming claimed to have given birth to a litter of rabbits. The claim caused a great stir and a public enquiry was ordered, over which Lord Onslow presided. Book rebound by Anthony Gardener, March 1971. (2 books together)

Accepted by the Treasury in lieu of Estate Duty on the death of the 5th and the 6th Earl in 1984
