Summary

[Saved] Case of 18th century burr walnut long case clock with double swan neck pediment, three gilt ball and spire finials, arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, date recording panel, eight day striking movement.

Provenance

Marked in Lady Iveagh’s 1966 Inventory, p22 Accepted by the Treasury in lieu of Estate Duty on the death of the 6th Earl of Onslow presumably in 1977
