Summary
[Destroyed in the fire of 2015] George III mahogany and parcel-gilt pole screen in the manner of William Hallet, the rectangular panel with upper key corners with a double scallopshell framed by S-scrolls and leaves, the baluster stem faced with acanthus leaves and the cabriole legs similarly decorated. The screen with a panel of contemporary Mortlake tapestry with a vase of brilliantly coloured flowers on a brown and yellow ground.
