Summary
[Destroyed in the fire of 2015] George III marquetry satinwood secretaire display cabinet attributed to John Cobb, the breakfront upper part with a scalloped cornice inlaid with flowerheads and anthemion and with three glazed doors enclosing shelves, the lower part with a secretaire drawer faced with a painted oval after Angelica Kauffman and inlaid with swags of flowers, with three drawers below and the concave sides each with a drawer inlaid with a basket of flowers, and a cupboard door inlaid with a classical urn, on short striped legs.
