Summary
[Salvaged] One of a pair of ormolu-mounted oriental porcelain brûles-parfum and covers formed by Arita (Japanese) circular boxes moulded with a lohan (Buddhist) and his boy in a landscape and with pierced ormolu galleries and bases and small famille-verte figures of crouching children (China, c. 1700) at each corner. Assembled in Europe, 18th century.
